Memorial Day Weekend

RACES STARTS @7:00 P.M. Saturday

1:00 P.M. Sunday

Rules & Classes Raced:

T-Jet

ThunderJet Rules:

Stock Class

 

1. Stock t-jet chassis (no cutting, no Tuff Ones chassis)

2. Stock t-jet armature (minimum 15 ohms, no balancing or rewinds)

3. Stock t-jet magnets (no AFX or Tuff Ones magnets, no shims)

4. Stock t-jet gears (no cutting or drilling, no Tuff Ones gears)

5. Stock t-jet electrical system, except any readily available motor brushes may be used

6. Stock t-jet guide pin must be used in stock location (only one guide pin allowed, may be glued in place).

7. Any readily available front and rear tires and wheels may be used.

8. Any stock Aurora, repro, or PM/JL hard shell body may be used (must have original glass and bumpers, body may be lowered by cutting mounting posts only, and wheel wells may be cut for tire clearance only).

9. All other parts (axles, pickup shoes, pickup springs) must be stock or stock replacement. No other modifications allowed.

10.Weight maybe added to chassis or body, only to keep chassis from bouncing on track.

 

Open Class:

1.Stock t-jet chassis (no cutting, no Tuff Ones chassis)

2. Mean Green wire armature.(Is readily available)

3. Fully Oriented Motor magnets(Is readily availalble).

4. Any gears.

5. Stock t-jet electrical system, except any readily available motor brushes may be used

6. Stock t-jet guide pin must be used in stock location (only one guide pin allowed, may be glued in place).

7. Any readily available front and rear tires and wheels may be used.

8. Any stock Aurora, repro, or PM/JL hard shell body may be used (must have original glass and bumpers, body may be lowered by cutting mounting posts only, and wheel wells may be cut for tire clearance only).

9. All other parts (axles, pickup shoes, pickup springs) maybe replaced.

10. (1) Neo dot magnet allowed for traction only.

No other modifications allowed.

 

 

Box Stock

1. Any stock unaltered Tyco 440-X2 or Life-Like Fast Tracker Chassis may be used.

2. Any unaltered factory stock car body may be used on corresponding chassis.

3. Allowable changes will include only the following:

-Aftermarket double flange hubs may be used on stock axle.

Slip-On silicone tires may be used on the rear hubs.

4. No other additional changes or modifications allowed.

Superstock

1. Any Tyco 440-X2, Life-like Fast Tracker, Patriot II, or Panther (Red or Pink), Super G+ (minus silver eledtrical) chassis may be used.

2. All armatures must be stock for the chassis. Patriot II and Panther cars may use only the narrow gap armature (No wide gap arms). Armatues may have a minimum ohm rating of 6.0 ohms at each pole.

3. All motor and traction magnets will be ceramic (except Super G+).

4. The following changes may be made to all chassis using readily available parts.

-Gears

-Axles

-Tires

-Electrical System

-Independent front ends/O-rings

5. Body mounts may be added to Tyco, Life-Like, and Super G+ chassis.

6. Any lexan body may be used.

7. Bushings and bulkheads will remain stock (No Ball Bearings).

8. Silver or Gold Plated electrical systems may be used. ( No Big Foot Brush Systems).

9. No other modifications will be allowed.

 

 

Modified

 

1. Any Tyco 440-X2, Super G+, Patriot II, or Panther (Red Or Pink) Chassis may be used.

2. Hot stock armatures may be used in this class (No wide gap arms).

3. All motor magnets will be ceramic. Traction Magnets may be replaced with phase II polymer traction magnets.

4. The following changes may be made to all chassis using readily available parts.

-gears

-axles

-tires

-Electrical Systems

-independent front ends/O-rings

5. Body mounts may be added to the Tyco 440-X2 and Super G+.

6. Any Lexan Body may be used.

7. Bushings may be used in Tyco 440-X2 Bulkheads. Any readily

available bushing may be used in Patriot, Panther, and Super G+ chassis.

8. Silver or Gold Plated electrical systems may be used. ( No Big Foot Brush Systems).

8. No other modiciations will be allowed.

 

Restricted Open

If enough participants are willing, will be run Sunday after all classes are completed.

On I-95 Head South to Exit 86A, once you turn off on this exit it will loop you around (be careful of merging traffic & Sheriff's deputies, Speed limit is 65mph, Many tickets will be given out this weekend),so you will be heading east, toward the beaches, keep heading east for 2 miles, then you come the intersection of Beville Rd & Clyde Morris Blvd. Just Past this intersection on the right hand is Foxboro Plaza, turn right into the plaza and your there. If you see Burger King And McDonalds on the right, you've go too far.
